Dr. Justin Bricker, Veterinarian

Dr. Bricker has been a part of the Pipe Creek Animal Clinic family since 2000.  He started working for Dr. Pearson while in high school.  After graduating from Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009 he returned as a full time veterinarian. In January 2016 Dr. Bricker purchased the clinic.

Dr. Bricker and his wife Heather make their home in Amboy with their 3 children. They have a sheltie named Oliver and a cat named Scooter.  Dr. Bricker enjoys hunting, fishing, farming and gardening.

Dr. Denise Pearson, Veterinarian

Dr. Pearson is a Grant County native and a graduate of Butler University and Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine.  She founded Pipe Creek Animal Clinic in 1998 with the philosophy of providing high quality animal care with small animal friendliness and a family focus.

Dr. Pearson currently lives on a farm in Swayzee.  She has two adult children.  Dr. Pearson is also the proud grandma of four beautiful grandchildren.  She shares the farm with 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 horses, 2 ponies, and her husband Mark.

When she is not caring for your pets at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and taking care of her farm.  She also likes participating in triathlons, cooking, gardening, trail riding, hiking, and reading.

“If I could somehow teach every client all they need to know to be the best pet owners ever, I would be happily unemployed.  I believe and follow the ‘Golden Rule’ in my work and in my life.”

Shea Buck, Practice Manager

Shea has a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Ball State University.  Shea joined our family in January of 2007 and can be found helping out anywhere she is needed as well as handling her many duties as our Practice Manager.  Shea is always busy keeping our practice as organized as possible.

Shea is originally from Greentown and now lives in Swayzee with her husband Greg and their 4-legged children; a dog, Heifer; cats, Frank and Oreo; and three horses named Woody, Rain, and Red.

She likes to go horseback riding and make crafts when she is not working in the clinic.

Lella Sadnavitch, Registered Veterinary Technician

Lella interned at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic in the summer of 2003 and received her Associates Degree from Purdue University in December of 2003.  She joined our team on January 19, 2004.  Lella says she would love to become a certified wildlife specialist in the future.

Born and raised in Marion, Lella lives in Gas City with her husband, 2 sons and stepdaughter.  They have one horse, four dogs, five cats, four bunnies, one cockatiel, three parakeets, and a bearded dragon.

Lella’s hobbies include reading, nature walks and spending time with family.  She is very involved in her children’s activities as well as her church.

“Animals have always been one of my passions. I am a firm believer in owner/client education.”

Shea Steely, Registered Veterinary Technician

Shea received her Associates Degree in Science from the International Business College.  She became a team member at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic in September, 2008.

Shea and her daughter make her home in Sweetser near the clinic.   They share their home with Ellie, an Airedale Terrier, 2 Akitas named Diesel and Lilly and 2 cats; Leno and Loas.

She enjoys camping, kayaking, fishing, cooking, and swimming with her daughter.

Kay Shafer,  Assistant

Kay has worked in veterinary medicine since 1972.  She became a part of our Pipe Creek Animal Clinic team in December of 1999.

Born in Pleasant Township, except for 2 years in Muncie, the Marion area has always been home to her.,

Kay has 4 grown children, 8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.  She also has a retired show horse named, Barney, 2 cats, named Twili and Fritz, that adopted her.

When Kay is not here at the practice she enjoys riding her old horse and going to shows with her daughter and her horse.  She also likes gardening vegetables and flowers, being with family and riding motorcycles.

“Veterinary medicine is so interesting because you encounter so many different challenges each day. I enjoy being a part of a team that is able to help pets, and thus also their owners to live a happier more healthy life. I am so thankful I can still do this.”

Joy Smith, Kennel Assistant

Joy joined our team in March of 2008.  She enjoys working with our patients, taking care of them and seeing them feel better. 

She is originally from Marion and now lives in the Swayzee area. Joy’s family includes a Basset/Beagle mix named Molly, 3 Pitbulls named Dinky, Snapper and Brindy, a mixed breed dog named, Todd and a Lab mix named, Dalilah.  She also has 9 cats; Kiddo, Ginger, Foxy, Colt, Crybaby, Lovey, Sleepy, Spade and Tigger.

When Joy is not at Pipe Creek Animal Clinic taking care of your pets, she likes walking her dogs in the woods, playing volleyball and having cookouts.

Heather Sullivan, Veterinary Technician

Heather is a graduate of Marion High School and received her Associate's degree from Indiana Business College in 2010. Before joining the Pipe Creek team in 2015, Heather worked for the Marion-Grant County Humane Society.


Heather lives in Marion with her three dogs and enjoys watching basketball, tv, and reading.

Allie Enyeart, Veterinary Technologist

Allie obtained her bachelor's degree from Purdue University in 2016 and started work here as a technologist right after graduation. She lives in Wabash with her family and their three dogs and a few cows.  She enjoys running and snowboarding.

Meg Roll, Receptionist

Meg studied journalism at Moorehead State and has worked in veterinary clinics since 2013. She joined our team as a receptionist in 2016.


Meg lives in Marion with her three dogs, Jasper, Nova, and Connor;  six chickens, and a turkey, Steve Urkle-Turkle Turkey. When she is not working, Meg enjoys drawing, painting, sculpting, writing, gardening, and drinking coffee.

Kendall Gibson, Vet Tech Intern

 

Kendall is an intern from the Indiana Business College studying veterinary technology. She will graduate with an Associates degree in veterinary technology in April of 2017.


Kendall and her husband live in Greentown with their dog, Kirby, and cat, Yogi. When Kendall has free time she enjoys spending it outdoors.

Sarah Wood, Vet Tech Intern

Sarah is a senior at Oak Hill High School. She will be attending Purdue University in 2017 to pursue a degree in Animal Science and become a veterinarian.

 

Sarah lives in Sweetser with her family and their four cats, two dogs, rabbits, sheep, and a pig. When Sarah is not working or attending school she is playing basketball or soccer.
